Ingleton Quarry receives a visit from York University

Ingleton Quarry received a visit from York University in October. 

Annette Mcgrath wrote, "I can't thank you enough for a fantastic visit to Ingleton Quarry last week - the trip down into the quarry void was hugely appreciated by us all and a wonderful opportunity to view such classic geology from northern England up close. 

"Thanks also for spending so much of your valuable time with us, getting out and showing us the old photos of the quarry, and for closing down operations so that we could enter the quarry. The students on the course were talking about the trip for the rest of the week and saying how incredibly grateful they were to have viewed an active quarry - and its splendid geology!"
