Creative Arts Project Ysgol Pen Coch and Ysgol Maes Hyfrydd

Some year six children at Ysgol Pen Coch have been having lots of fun at the Padeswood Eco Centre, working on their joint creative arts project with Ysgol Maes Hyfryd.  They have learned a multitude of new skills and have worked together to construct a clay oven, puppet theatre, shelters, dens and much more.

The children showcased their project on 27^th March and demonstrated what they had been learning.

This is the second creative arts project the schools have undertaken, easing transition worries for the year six children and allowing the pupils to form meaningful relationships with the staff and children they will join next year when they make the leap to secondary school.
